This performance explores themes of human relationships and love. The piece reflects on what lies behind tenderness and gentleness in love, and on how the need for connection and closeness manifests itself through innate animality, distance, and hidden experiences.

Eyes are lustful. Bloated eyelashes flutter quietly. Soupy and cosy foam of the body. Rip it, knead it with a dried birth cord. A fallen belly kisses. Slap with the tongue, bite, argue, strip naked. It will tear, strike, or shatter. The giggling maniac will choke. Feed her with a sweaty palate. Tickle her groin, lie down by her armpit. All the vomit from the heart. Slugs from the heart. While making love, she’ll hide, then she’ll stink. Rut, bark dull, decay.

The performance contains nudity.

Accessibility Information

One accessible parking space is available near Valmiera Theatre for visitors with disabilities. A level, paved pathway leads from the parking space to the theatre entrance. Bicycle parking is also available near the theatre.

An accessible restroom for people with mobility impairments is located on the ground floor (Level 0) of the theatre. It is situated to the right of the cloakroom. The cloakroom is located immediately inside the main entrance.

The theatre is equipped with Braille signage. A lift provides access to all floors of the building. Stairs are also available throughout the theatre. The height of each stair riser is 15 cm.

During the festival, the lift is available for visitors with functional impairments and is equipped with Braille signage. It also provides audio announcements indicating the direction of travel, as well as door opening and closing.

The New Hall is located on the third floor and can be accessed by either stairs or lift. After exiting the lift on the third floor, a level corridor leads to the hall. There is no threshold at the entrance to the auditorium. Audience members are seated on tiered seating. Designated wheelchair spaces are available in the first row.

Assistance dogs are welcome during the performance.
